 So often in this world we seek a love that will meet all of our needs. We long for comfort, joy, passion and friendship. What is not found in romantic relationships is sought in friendships, and what can be found in neither leaves many with a feeling of emptiness.

What is often lost in the quest for love is the remembrance that it is the Lord himself that can meet all of our needs. He can bring us connection in times of loneliness, answers in times of despair and peace in times of anxiety. Without the Lord, we search in vain for relationships to meet our every need.
