The Chancel Window
This three-panel window stands behind the Word as it sits at the head of the church on the chancel. Jim wanted to enhance the area even more and after considering many design possibilities he settled on a simple, Viennese pattern reminiscent of the windows found in eary European cathedrals. Simple patterns were used in the lower windows so that the glass would not distract the congregation away from the teachings of the minister. Once completed the middle window did not fully satisfy Jim and was subsequently replaced with the window depicted here.
