The Los Angeles New Church congregation is a vibrant group of people who enjoy living the teachings of the New Church. We love the ways in which these teachings transform our lives by offering a profound and intimate vision of our God and help us experience His presence, and live thoughtful, balanced and caring lives. We are eager to share this vision with others!

The New Church reads the Bible as spiritual lessons, explained through the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg. The Bible communicates the Lord's teachings in the form of parables so that each person may gain insight that applies to his or her own life.

The aim is to bring heaven into the hearts, minds and actions of people on earth.
