WELCOME to the Ivyland New Church. Our worship services begin at 10:00 a.m. every Sunday. We have a children's talk followed by an adult sermon while the children go to Sunday School and Nursery.

The Ivyland New Church is a community of people with a common dream. That dream is to work together with the Lord to establish His New Church on Earth. We are not really talking about a building here; rather, we are talking about establishing a culture of people who look to the Lord as He reveals Himself in His Word, trying to understand Him and His principles for the purpose of a better life.

We see the Lord Jesus Christ as the one God who is all loving and who has infinite power. By understanding who He is and how He lived as described in the Old and New Testaments and the Writings for our Church (as given by Emanuel Swedenborg) we can see how he offers us His power and blessing as we live on earth. Central to our purpose as a church is our seeking of concrete insights, showing us how to live in ways that use that power, not just to overcome the negativity in our lives, but also to live joyfully.

One passage from the Writings of our church teaches that a church exists where the Lord is present and is loved. Our community is developing ways we support each other in discovering the Lord's presence in the different stages of our lives and sharing that presence with others. We see this presence reflected in healthy marriages, in the wisdom of old age, in people dealing successfully with addictions, and in a person's ability to live a truly meaningful life.

We would love to have you visit us for worship. We would love to have you participate in discovering the blessings that Lord brings as we look to build a community founded on the teachings of His Word.
