For Children:

Joshua and JudgesLevel 4: Joshua and Judges is the first completed level of the new Jacob’s Ladder series for use in the home by individual students. Level 4 is roughly equivalent to grade 4 in American schools, but older and some younger students may also find the material interesting and instructive.

Joshua and Judges leads the student through the dramatic stories of Joshua’s conquest of the Land of Canaan and the feats of the Judges of Israel as they liberated the Children of Israel from the oppression of their enemies. Also included are special lessons for Christmas, Easter and New Church Day.

In the Student Activity Book, each lesson allows for a variety of creative responses from the student. Activities include dramatic coloring pictures, projects, journal writing, puzzles, map work, question-and-answers pages, and quotations to color and display.

Jacob’s Ladder Level 4: GL-404 $48.00

The Jacob’s Ladder series will follow the same sequence as the recently developed General Church Schools’ Religion Curriculum. It is designed to gradually replace the current Grade Level lessons (see pages 18-19). Level 4 is the first in the series to be ready. Other levels, from Kindergarten through 6th grade, are currently in development. While the Jacob’s Ladder Program is primarily for use by individual students in the home, ministers and Sunday School teachers may also find it useful. For more information, please contact Rev. Philip B. Schnarr or Jill Rogers.
