Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Psalm 150:6
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.arms up

Optional: Lead young children to indicate the heavens above and the earth beneath as they say the recitation.

The heavens: Look up to the heavens abovearms down and crossing

The earth: Cross arms and then open, pointing to the earth beneath.

Psalm 148:5
Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For He commanded and they were created.
