Early Childhood Religion ProgramEarly Child Religion Program

The Office of Education has developed this program to support you in meeting the spiritual needs of your children. Starting in September and going through June, your family will receive a package each month based on a story from the Word with spiritual concepts that have been carefully chosen for young children.

Illustrated StoryIllustrated Story: These booklets for children in levels B & C (ages 2-5), retell a story from the Word in simple language or describe concepts about the Lord and heaven in story form. These can be read several times or kept for use in family worship.
ORTalk-About Pitcure
Talk-About Picture: Sent to level A (0-1), these lovely pictures, complete with a simple quote, give parents a focus to use in talking to their youngest children about the Lord and the story in the very gentlest terms. They can be framed or mounted.

Projects and MaterialsProjects & Materials: An age-appropriate project for each level brings the story to life for children in a fun and memorable experience. Effort is made to involve all five senses and also the world of nature to affix ideas in the children’s minds. Suggestions for additional enrichment activities are often included.
Song CDSong CD: A CD with songs and poems to use with each month’s topic will be sent in one of the first few packages. The simple joyful music, performed by various New Church artists, can be played over and over to reinforce children’s memories of the stories.
Parent Pamphlet & Inspiration Cards: These instructional and iParent Pamphlet and Inspiriation Cardsnspirational materials seek to nurture parents in their vital use of child-raising while providing ways to deepen their understanding of New Church doctrines and the ideals of spiritual instruction.

The cost of this program is $25 US per child if you order before August 20th. After that date the cost will be $30 US per child. Only one shipping charge will be applied per family. In the U.S.A., shipping costs $20 US per family; in Canada, shipping is $30 US per family. Overseas addresses will be $45 US per family.
