Specific Tips

Go to sites and find discussion boards. Add to discussions on a variety of topics (specific ideas: angels, life after death, regeneration... or other topics that interest you), exploring New Church teachings, ideas of Swedenborg and guiding people to www.newchurch.org (or your local congregation website) Try to get in ongoing discussion/conversations with people. If you are willing, give them your email address, so they can contact you directly.

  1. Find Swedenborg's works (or collateral New Church Works) on bookstore websites and write positive 5-star reviews of the books.
  2. Find books on related topics (heaven, hell, eternity, marriage, etc.) and email people who have reviewed the books and recommend books of Swedenborg on similar topics. Guide them to www.newchurch.org and New Church ideas.

  1. Search a topic on either website.
  2. Choose a book on that topic.
  3. Read the "Customer Reviews"
  4. Then identify customers to email directly and suggest they try out a work of Swedenborg or point them to www.newchurch.org.

Find sites that say poor or untrue things about Swedenborg or the New Church. Email the sites true and positive information, offer additional resources, ask them to post what is true. Share your personal experiences as a Swedenborgian.
