  • Education for Character - Teaching others to become spiritual fishermen.
  • What does it mean to be human? How are we unique?

Audience: All of the above are for New Church audiences. Most were designed to speak to the educational community but this includes parents and others interested in New Church education.

Logistics: Each of the above is flexible. Generally will fit into a one hour time slot but could be extended to have more audience participation if desired.

All presentations have some audio/visual component. None use PowerPoint as of now, but could be adapted for this medium.

Educational Background:

Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Waterloo. Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario. Master of Education in Administration at the University of Toronto. Master of Divinity at Academy of the New Church Theological School.

Experiences:

Teaching all ages of elementary school. Principal of the Olivet New Church School in Toronto. College instructor. Houseparent in high school boy's dormitory. Manager of a lakeside lodge and resort. Truck driver. Hockey player and coach. Father of five children. Married 25 years. Director of the General Church Office of Education for 7 years, Chairman of the General Church Sound Recording Library. Occasional preacher.
