Background:
Kay Alden graduated from Bryn Athyn College of the New Church in 1977 with a degree in education. She taught algebra in the Academy of the New Church Girls School, in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, for one year. She coached volleyball at the Midwestern Academy of the New Church for two years. She is an experience Sunday school teacher, preschool teacher. Her most recent teaching experience was in the Bryn Athyn Church School teaching 6th grade. Kay has served as the Theta Alpha international president, secretary and member at large. She will complete her Masters of Arts in Religious Studies program May 2005. Kay currently serves as the head of the Education Division at Bryn Athyn College of the New Church.
