Interview with Lesley Rohrman

Lesley and her two young children, Jeremy and Emma, and her aunt, Joanne Guiles, were all baptized together in January of 2001. Their family has been a joyful addition to our congregation. Lesley is a hands-on member, not the type to sit back and just observe. Upon arriving, she and her family became immediately involved in all kinds of helpful ways. She bravely took on leadership of the annual Craft Fair in her first year here. I asked Lesley why she joined this church.
"Because I had always been searching for a church until now. I had been searching for somewhere that taught what I already believed in my heart. This church has affected my life in tremendous ways. It has made my life a lot easier. It has stopped my fear of not finding a good place for my children to grow up. We all share a common belief and common moral ground. We help each other in maintaining the effort to become better people. Also, people here don't invade each others lives.
There is respect, and yet there is a sincere closeness. I felt welcome immediately." With her typical humor she laughs and adds, "It's one stop shopping for all my spiritual needs."
