Campaigns
Congratulations! You are participating in a multi-congregational, coordinated Campaign that will go down in the history of the General Church. A Campaign is a remarkable opportunity for you, your existing congregation and new people in your area.
 |
In October 2010, we will begin our fifth campaign. The Pause: Make Space for God Campaign, including daily or weekly emails will run starting
October 3, 2010 and will be repeated again in January 2011. |
 |
In October 2009, we introduced our fourth campaign. The Living Courageously Campaign, including daily or weekly emails ran from
October 4 thru November 15, and again in February 2010. |
 |
In October 2008, we began our third campaign. The Building Healthy Relationships Campaign, including daily or weekly emails which ran from
October 5 thru November 22, and was repeated again in February 2009. |
 |
In fall of 2007, and again in January 2008 we held our second
campaign: The Journey to Freedom Campaign. |
 |
In the fall of 2006, the first campaign, Rise Above It, took place. Read about the results here. |
During the Campaign people are invited to participate in three core aspects of spiritual life
Sunday worship, small group participation and reading
as they work toward reaching their personal goals.
Remember, for a Campaign to be successful it must be a priority for the leaders and members of your congregation. Part of the success of the Campaign is that all conflicting programs are cleared from the calendar, and existing programs are adapted and integrated into the Campaign. As your congregation commits to this program, it is also critical that church leadership and staff be intimately involved in and committed to the Campaign.
