Q. How are the Vineyard Magazine website and the Vineyard Collection different?

A. Vineyard Magazine

This is an online family magazine that offers inspirational quotes from the Word, prayers and sermons, projects, spiritual tasks, journal ideas, songs, and Sunday School lessons.

Every month brings a new focus with a different topic and array of resources. This thematic approach helps people dive into a topic, exploring it in a variety of ways and then move onto another topic the next month.

For those with a voracious appetite for spiritual enrichment (or who are looking for resources on a specific story in the Word or spiritual concept like life after death), the previous issues are available as well as the current one.

The Vineyard Magazine is available free of charge

Vineyard Collection

This is a database of resources for religious education on a CD-ROM. These resources are arranged by category or type of resource - projects, coloring pages, songs, Sunday School, curriculum for religion classes, etc.

These resources can also be accessed by reference, age level, topic, or by looking up a specific word or phrase so it easy to find what you need. The CD-ROM offers many more resources for use in the home, Sunday School, etc. than the Vineyard Magazine.

The Vineyard Collection is available for $40 USD.

Q. Does the Vineyard Collection CD-ROM just have resources that are already available for free on the internet?
A. No. There are many, many resources that are only available on the CD-ROM. At the same time, there are other religion projects and Sunday School lessons that have been created since this edition of the New Church VineyardTM Collection was produced. Most of these are only available through Vineyard Magazine.
