Welcome
This seven-week program is a journey to learn about the deeper meaning of
Sermon on the Mount and apply what you learn to your life. The New Church teaches that each story of the Bible contains an inner, symbolic meaning that mirrors our every struggle and every triumph. This inner meaning was given in the 18th century through Emanuel Swedenborg and is taught in New Church congregations around the world.
This is an opportunity to make positive change in your life. When you focus on your personal and spiritual growth, the impact is greater than your efforts because the Lord is working with you. You will see changes not only in yourself, but also in your relationships with friends, spouse, family, co-workers, etc.

The Building Healthy Relationships program will begin October 5, 2008. You may join a participating congregation or follow along online. Sign up here to receive the daily or weekly emails replete with inspiration, explanation, reflection guidance, and tasks.
If you are among the many people who are not located near a New Church
congregation but would like to participate, the Extended Small Group Network
could be for you. The General Church Outreach team is able to support you in
forming and running your own small group in your area. We can help you get
started with access to workbooks, leader’s guides, printable marketing
materials, and audio or printable sermons organized according to the weekly
readings. We can also provide you with implementation instructions and support
via email, or conference calls by request.
If you are interested in learning how to form and run a small group, please
contact the Extended Small Group Network team. You may
email
Lydia Boericke or
email Peter Boericke. We’re here to help guide you through the process.
