The suffering and chaos brought on by the recent hurricane striking the Louisiana coast has shocked the western world. This voice of tragedy has called us together, uniting us in prayer and in our efforts to reach out to those in need.

In times like this it is essential to remember that the Lord is working too. He constantly works to help each person to experience His love in a way that will help lead them toward peace –even when natural circumstances are difficult. This supportive love flows from Him in the midst of tragedies. His love is made more real as we cooperate with Him to help those in need.
