Swedenborg's Writings, or books
The New Church bases its doctrine on the Bible as illuminated by the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg. There are several websites you can use to browse or search Swedenborg's writings.
www.BaltimoreNewChurch.org has a simple to use interface for browsing the individual books. Pick a book from the dropdown list at the top of the page, and click the "Read it" button. Or choose from the descriptions of each book that appear at the bottom of that page. Multiple translations are available. You may also search the Writings by clicking the "Search Doctrines" menu item in the left column.
www.HeavenlyDoctrines.org is geared more towards searching the Writings. It provides a more fully-featured search capability, allowing users to search for specific topics, find exact quotations, and view the original Latin text. This site also includes more books by Swedenborg, as well as the capability to search within issues of New Church Life magazine. The user interface may be more difficult for those who want to browse through the Writings.
For a list and description of the various books, see Swedenborg's bibliography.
For those who prefer to read a book, instead of reading online, these books can be purchased through the New Church Bookstore or New Church Amazon Storefront.
You may also download PDFs of Swedenborg's Writings.

The Bible
Different versions of the Bible are used in New Church worship. The Kings James and New King James versions are translations used frequently.
www.KemptonProject.org makes a New Church translation of the Bible available to the public. The New Church version of the Word illuminates the deeper meaning of biblical allegory, using Swedenborg's Writings to reveal hidden truth.
www.BibleGateway.com is a wonderful non-denominational site which enables you to search for Bible passages in over 35 languages with access to 50 different versions, including King James, New King James, and many others.
