Jacob's Ladder Religion Lessons - Learning about the Lord one level at a time!
Based on the religion curriculum for the General Church School System, these lessons are filled with full-color pictures and a variety of activities. Children can experience a sense of wonder and excitement as they learn the stories of the Word from parents, Sunday School teachers and others. A very important part of every level is material for parents or teachers—wonderful opportunities to renew or increase the adult's affection for and understanding of the Lord's Word. Jacob's Ladder transforms religion lessons into an exciting multi-sensory experience for today’s families. Each year's program is $60.00. To order or for more information, contact oed@newchurch.org.
- Introductory Level: The Lord Is Our Heavenly Father (ages 5-7; equivalent to US Kindergarten)
- Level One: The Lord Is the Creator and Provider (ages 7-8; equivalent to US Grade 1)
- Level Two: The Lord Is Our Shepherd (ages 8-9; equivalent to US Grade 2)
- Level Three: The Lord Is Our Lawgiver (ages 9-10; equivalent to US Grade 3)
- Level Four: The Lord Is the Hero of War (ages 10-11; equivalent to Grade 4)
- Level Five: The Lord Is King of Kings (ages 11-12; equivalent to Grade 5)
