The Early Childhood Program
Simple Truths for a Tender Age
The General Church Office of Education's Early Childhood Religion Program uses a hands-on, multi-sensory approach to engage very young children in activities, projects and music that teach them about the Lord. Monthly stories and projects help families grow closer to the Lord in affection, thought and action.
The fun starts in September, but you may sign up at any time during the year.
Every month, the materials focus on a different story from the Word or a simple spiritual ideal and following spiritual concepts for different ages: birth to one year two to three years four to five.
Every package will arrive with a project including materials and instructions, to complete together with your little ones, a song or two on CD, a children’s story, suggestions of additional ways to expand the month’s theme with your family and just for parents, inspirational quotes and pamphlets based on the theme.
Each Month's Materials Include:
- An illustrated children's story
- A project complete with supplies
- Inspirational quotations and articles relating to spiritual guidance for parents
- Suggestions on simple ways to further bring the month's story and theme to life for your family
- A CD of music in the first month's package with words to sing-along with!
