  • Pause: Make Space for God

  • Exploring the Bible

Whether you know the Bible well or are picking it up for the first time, here is a framework to support your exploration in a meaningful way and to create a space to hear God's voice in your life.

  • Seeking Answers: The Bible? Jesus? The Trinity?

God and the Bible do not have to be mysterious. Explore questions regarding the nature of God and how He communicates with us.

  • Changing Lives: "I never understood the strength of a church community."

Read one person's story of spiritual travels and, on the way, discovery of the teachings of the New Church. He highlights the importance of community in the life of religion, and sees himself as a fellow traveler of other like-minded people, journeying toward heaven and the Lord.

  • Real Challenges: Biblical Contradictions.

The Bible contains some of the most profound and beautiful truths ever recorded. Its words can bring peace and comfort in times of pain and darkness. And yet its words can just as often seem confusing, contradictory, or disturbing. How do we make sense of these mismatches?

  • New Perspective: Is God Angry?

The Bible contains images of a vengeful, jealous God. But is this image reality? Or a perception we hang on to? Explore why God could seem angry, and yet is actually loving and merciful.
