How to start a Church Group
"For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20)
Starting a church group can be as easy as getting together with other people to study the Bible, or other religious publications together. Groups of interested people often get together to participate in the annual Spiritual Growth Small Group Campaign. Resources from prior campaigns can also be accessed through this website.
Your group can be expanded to include worship in several different ways depending on your preference. Beginning in 2009 there will be an online church with live services each Sunday, as well as live programs, groups and classes during the week through www.newchurchlive.tv.
There are also audio sermons available by topic of interest or in PDF form for download on the New Church Audio website or accompaniment music on New Church Music.
General Church Outreach is here to support you in building the strength and purpose of your New Church group. Contact the Joseph Project staff at outreach@newchurch.org.
