Membership: an opportunity to show your commitment

Many people are connected with the New Church and the Writings of Swedenborg, but have not formally joined The General Church of the New Jerusalem. This is your invitation to join our spiritual community and worldly organization, and to show your commitment to doing the Lord's work on earth. (Of course, you will be welcome to participate in our worship services even if you have not yet taken any of these steps).

Based on the Holy Bible, The New Church gains further inspiration and understanding through the teachings of 18th century scientist and theologian Emanuel Swedenborg. In his 35 volumes of theology, Swedenborg helps set forth the Lord's plan for a rebirth of Christianity, a clear vision of God in His own Word, and what that means in our lives.
