Communicating with the Bishop's Office

Both the Executive Bishop and Assistant Bishop expect to be frequently traveling among General Church congregations. As a result, direct communications with other areas of the Church must rely on technology.

Publications

At least twice each year, and more frequently as needed, the Bishop's Office communicates with the membership of the Church through the Bishop's Newsletter. Usually accompanying this paper publication is a copy of General Church Around the World, which profiles individual congregations. You can read them and other publications in the publications section.

Based on the Holy Bible, The New Church gains further inspiration and understanding through the teachings of 18th century scientist and theologian Emanuel Swedenborg. In his 35 volumes of theology, Swedenborg helps set forth the Lord's plan for a rebirth of Christianity, a clear vision of God in His own Word, and what that means in our lives.
