It is what is in your heart, not what is in your mind only, or the words on your tongue or the membership card in your wallet that determines your eternal condition. When people arrive in the spiritual world after the death of the physical body they are not asked, “what is your religion?” but rather, “what is your life?"

Based on the Holy Bible, The New Church gains further inspiration and understanding through the teachings of 18th century scientist and theologian Emanuel Swedenborg. In his 35 volumes of theology, Swedenborg helps set forth the Lord's plan for a rebirth of Christianity, a clear vision of God in His own Word, and what that means in our lives.
