What does the New Church say about Divorce?

Divorce is a reality in our world today. The Writings for the New Church clearly state that adultery is a grounds for divorce, because it is destructive to the essence of marriage.

The New Church supports all people, no matter what stage of life or challenges they face, to begin life anew as they strive to follow the Lord and obey His commands.
