Do we have to be in the same religion to have true married love?

The Writings for the New Church indicate that religious differences are a major challenge in marriage. When a couple does not have that spiritual connection, or if they reject religion and spiritual life, the love in their marriage can struggle.

It is important to cultivate a spiritual basis for a marriage because this is the source of its true life.
