Affiliate Organizations
  • The Academy of the New Church (www.academyofthenewchurch.org) is the educational branch of the General Church. The Academy was granted a charter in 1877, for the purpose of teaching the Writings of Emanuel Swedenborg, promoting New Church education in all its forms, educating young men for the ministry, publishing books and other printed material, and establishing a library. The Academy consists of four schools: separate secondary schools for boys and girls, a four-year college, and a theological school which also offers post-graduate programs for lay people.

  • The ANC Alumni Connection (www.ancalumni.org) provides information for alumni and friends of the Academy of the New Church (ANC), including news and announcements, sports results, summaries of Board of Trustees meetings, and provides information about financially supporting the mission of the schools.

  • The Academy of the New Church Secondary Schools (www.ancss.org) website provides general information about the Boys and Girls Schools, as well as specifics on admissions, student life, facilities, athletics, and college or career guidance. The site also offers audio streaming of morning chapel services.

  • Bryn Athyn College of the New Church (www.brynathyn.edu) website provides general information about the Academy's institution for higher-education, as well as specifics on admissions, tuition and financial aid, applying online, and student life. The site also offers profiles of academic programs, individual courses, and faculty members.

  • The Academy of the New Church Theological School (www.ancts.org) website provides information about the School's mission, faculty, and post-graduate degree programs.

  • Glencairn Museum (www.glencairn.org) provides information about the Academy's museum facility, its history, collections, publications, tours, events and more.

  • Cairnwood (www.cairnwood.org) Hailed in 1995 as "the show house of the century," Cairnwood now provides a memorable setting for weddings, private parties, civic functions, business meetings, and other special events.

Based on the Holy Bible, The New Church gains further inspiration and understanding through the teachings of 18th century scientist and theologian Emanuel Swedenborg. In his 35 volumes of theology, Swedenborg helps set forth the Lord's plan for a rebirth of Christianity, a clear vision of God in His own Word, and what that means in our lives.
